Slowly but surely, vegan alternatives have started popping up all over, and they’re actually delicious. With feta and paneer pizzas also sneakily making an appearance on menus, it seems traditional mozzarella cheese just isn’t the way to do it anymore.

The meaty discs of goodness have long been the go-to choice for meat feast pizza fans. However, chicken – especially of the shawarma variety – is capable of lifting a slice to higher heights of tastiness. It’s the herbs and spices of the shawarma chicken that adds a new, delicious mouthfeel and creates a more filling portion of pizza. And with all that protein in chicken, it’s bound to make the pizza good for you, right? RIGHT?
