Sinfónica de Galicia: Mahler 6
Classical music fans are in for a treat as Spain’s leading orchestra, Sinfónica de Galicia are bringing their hits to the region for the first time. With a little help from Orquesta Joven de la Sinfónica de Galicia, Sinfónica de Galicia will pay tribute to legendary Austrian composer Gustav Mahler by performing his iconic piece, the 6th Symphony.

Ladies Night at Ornina
Ladies, if you’re looking to get over the week hump, then escape to Ornina for a little slice of Mediterranean heaven. Indulge in free drinks from 7-11pm and feast on mouth-watering dishes like Paella Pollo which is slow cooked arroz bomba rice stew severed with vegetables and seafood, drizzled with saffron. The views of the marina aren’t bad either. Quick note: seats go fast, so be sure to get there early.

Jose Toledo’s Art Exhibition
Having just displayed his work at the Artissima Gallery in Al Quoz, Mexican artist and UAE expat Jose Toledo is showcasing his ever growing artwork at the Ritz Carlton, Abu Dhabi. Art enthusiasts can ponder over Jose’s carefully crafted oil on canvas and mixed media paintings which took over the former civil engineer over 20 years to create.

Cinema - The Revenant (18)
Alejandro González Iñárritu’s Grizzly Adams-like tale, starring Leonardo Di Caprio, Tom Hardy and Domhnall Gleeson, has already had the seal of approval from critics and filmgoers – it currently has 8.2 on imdb and 83% on Rotten Tomatoes. The film focuses on the truish story of Hugh Glass, who in the 1820s sought vengeance on John Fitzgerald, the man who killed his son and, following a bear attack, left Glass for dead.
