A museum of illusions is opening in Dubai next month
September is a great month, isn’t it? The weather gets better and going outdoors is actually an option, tons of acts start making their way to the region and many cool events and exhibits are announced.
The latest being *clears throat and says in the most eerie yet convincing way possible*, The Museum of Illusions.
The world’s fasting growing chain of museums is coming to Dubai and, get this, it’s going to the brand's biggest edition yet.
The museum will open in Al Seef on September 12 and will feature the largest collection of optical illusions in the chain’s portfolio.
Of the 80 illusions, we’re, perhaps, most excited about the squiggly mirrors – you know, the ones that make your face look all wonky and make you look 10ft taller? Yeah, love those.
We’re also keen to try out the Vortex Tunnel – it’s basically a rotating tunnel that tricks the mind into thinking that the ground is moving, and the Ames Room – an experience where you either shrink or grow, depending on your position in the exhibit.
Tickets to the museum are priced at AED60 for children and AED80 for adults.
