Tiesto support act for DXBeach announced
Tiesto called him "the next big thing", and he’s clearly sticking by that assentation, as Swedish DJ Mikael Weermets is set to join him at DXBeach. The second act to be announced on the line-up for Friday 26 February at Zero Gravity, Weermets doesn’t care for genres, and instead focuses on what he calls the “sound of now”.
The 28-year-old has released tracks on major labels including Tiesto’s Musical Freedom, as well as Interscope & EMI. He’s played sold-out shows across the world, in the likes of Miami, Paris, New York and Dubai.
Zero Gravity’s DXBeach is always popular, but this event promises to be even better with the addition of the new 200 square metre pool. Headed up by 46-year-old Dutchman and all-round dance music legend Tiesto, tickets are still up for grabs. Regular tickets are AED275 and poolside is AED400. Or you can opt for the DXBrunch package for AED495, which includes free-flowing drinks and plenty of food between 12pm an 3pm, plus access to DXBeach.

Top DJ Tiesto has been at the forefront of dance music for two decades, having cruised through different dance music genres over the years. In 2005 he released “Adagio for Strings” from his album, Just Be, which has gone down in music history. Mixmag readers voted it the second greatest dance record of all time.
