It’s a busy week with the Qasr Al Hosn festival kicking off, cross cultural performances in Desert Storm and an exhibition depicting Emirati family photos. You can also get stuck into all-you-can-eat ribs, sing your heart out at an open mic night or learn the tricks of the trade from an expert mixologist.

Qasr Al Hosn festival
Back for the fourth year in a row, the Qasr Al Hosn festival provides an opportunity to learn about the foundations, traditions and culture of the UAE and offers the chance to get hands on yourself with craft workshops and a range of activities divided amongst the Qasr Al Hosn, Desert, Oasis, Marine and Abu Dhabi Island zones. Desert Storm
Desert Storm aims to showcase musical talent from the Middle East in these performances that break stereotypes and bridge gaps between cultural styles. Get ready to be introduced to alternative/cinematic pop from Rotana Tarabzouni, Sons of Yusuf blending hip-hop culture with an Arabic twist and Narcy who uses hip hop to explore deeper issues including history of art, race, colonialism and religion.
