Doll up your diary, it's our weekly to-do list
The Santa run
The festivities are in full swing, and we’ve been celebrating with everything from snacking on mince pies at our desks to feasting on seasonal treats at Christmas markets. But lo and behold, there is a way to get into the spirit that doesn’t involve excessive eating. Sign up for the Santa Run and you and your pals can jog along dressed like you’re ready for a vacation to the North Pole. It’s the first of its kind in the city, and it’s no joke as organisers RaceME are handing out prizes for the most convincing Mr Claus. After working up a sweat, participants are invited to kick back in Santa’s Grotto, too. Adults will jog along the backdrop of the Dubai Creek for 5km (kids can tag along for 2.5km) with an entry price tag of AED175. Be quick to sign up however, as spaces are limited. You never know, you might even burn off one of those mince pies.
