Get creative with Apple and the Big Draw Festival
Whether you're a doodler, an artist, a chalkboard enthusiast, or a professional designer, there's something for everyone this month at The Big Draw Festival.
Promoting visual literacy, Apple has joined with the global arts education charity to host a series of free sessions in Dubai for kids, artists, app designers and anyone with enthusiasm to create something from any age group. So, all of us? Bring your kids, bring your friends, bring your artistic parrot if you really want to (maybe don't really bring your parrot, the malls are not too keen on pets).
On October 6, they will be hosting Drawing Characters In Motion with Sam Nassour.
Emirati Pop Culture with Aysha Al Hemrani takes place on October 13. She said of the event, "The creative community in the UAE is growing and it’s important for me as an Emirati artist to bring something new to the table. Art is a universal language and it is through my work that I am able to visually showcase my nation and culture with the rest of the world.”
So, get your crayons out, grab your iPad and come doodle in the malls with us. In the malls, not on the malls... there's a subtle difference.
