Snake found on plane set to travel to Dubai
Remember the movie “Snakes on a Plane”? Of course you do, it’s a classic. In news that sounds way too much like the 2006 action/thriller for comfort, a snake was actually found on a plane travelling to Dubai.
But before you start to panic, the real story is much less like the movie…
On Sunday, an Emirates flight from Muscat to Dubai was cancelled due to a snake being found in the cargo hold of the plane (that’s right, it wasn’t found in the cabin and the flight didn’t even take off).
A spokesperson for Emirates confirmed that flight EK0863 was cancelled due to the snake being found prior to boarding.
This isn’t the first time “Snakes on a Plane” has come to life. One of the most recent and, quite frankly, terrifying cases was in November 2016, when a plane had to make an emergency landing when a snake was spotted slithering out of an overhead bin. The Aeromexico flight to Mexico was forced to make an unplanned landing so that the reptile could be secured.

Wow. We’re not going to sleep tonight.
