The view from At the Top at the Burj Khalifa is probably one of the world’s most impressive panoramas. If you’re anything like the millions of Instagrammers that go mad for a sunrise (seriously, the hashtag has been used over 31 million times), then news that you can watch the sun come up from the world’s tallest building is bound to get you excited.

To mark UAE National Day, you’ll be able to watch the sunrise at 5.30am from At the Top, before continuing every Friday and Saturday morning throughout winter. As a special treat, anything who purchases a sunrise ticket will get a free breakfast at The Café at no extra cost – let’s face it, you deserve it after that early start.

The Burj Khlifa’s viewing deck is on levels 124 and 125 giving you impressive views in all directions of the city. On a clear day you can see out across to the Burj Al Arab and Dubai Marina, as well as in the other direction towards Dubai Creek. It’s also a great vantage point to see the newly completed Dubai Canal, which stretches out into the Arabian Gulf.

Set your alarm and grab yourself a very strong coffee, because it sounds like this will be completely worth the early rise.

Tickets can be purchased from the At The Top, Burj Khalifa stand on the lower floor of The Dubai Mall or you can visit www.burjkhalifa.ae
