Uhh travel – there’s nothing like it. The feeling of joy that fills you when you know that in just a few short hours, you will be on a beach, watching the sunset or on a mountain, drinking hot cocoa as the snow starts to fall… *wipes tear, we need a holiday*.

But with travel also comes the beloved trip to the airport. And, although Emirates Terminal 3 is amazing – there’s sleep pods, the world’s fastest free Wi-Fi and the Dubai Duty Free – standing in long lines to check in, is not.

Luckily, it looks like we won’t have to do that for much longer.

According to a new report by Gulf News, Emirates Airline is currently trialing a new initiative that will allow its passengers to check in at home – for all those rolling their eyes, we are well aware that you can check-in online, this potential service is better, much better.

According to the report, an Emirates van will come to your house, tag your bags and print your boarding pass.

All you need to do is get to the airport and make it to your boarding gate on time.

The proposed service (Emirates, if you’re reading this, please make it happen), is just one of the many initiatives that the Dubai-based airline is looking to introduce in the hopes of improving your overall experience with the airline.

This past September, Emirates revealed its plans of introducing a number of different classes to the Economy cabin.

Previously speaking on the news, the president of the airline Sir Tim Clark said: “We have seen what happened in short-haul, it was nuclear on our industry. It’s a question of time, the economics are probably more difficult, but it is clear that the place for long-haul low-cost is there.”
