The full ‘Jurassic World 2’ trailer is finally here and it looks incredible
It goes without saying that Jurassic Park is one of the best films ever made - what am I saying, it is the best film ever made - but the other two in the initial trilogy are both good as well, much better than you remember.
So it was with trepidation that I went to see Jurassic World, the 2015 reboot, fearing that it would just be a horrible, charmless legacy cash-in. 124 minutes and a massive box of popcorn later, however, and I was grinning ear-to-ear - fine, it might not have been quite as good as Jurassic Park (but, as we have already established, that is the greatest film ever) - but it was a good watch, keeping the spirit of the originals, having a genuinely interesting plot, and some great performances, with Chris Pratt, in particular, an inspired piece of casting. The public agreed too, as it raked in $1.7 billion at the box office - the highest grossing film ever for a few short months until some space sci-fi movie came along to take the crown.
But the nerves are jangling once again with the impending release of Jurassic World 2, aka Jurassic World: Lost Kingdom, which, following the success of the first one, will be the second film in a World trilogy, and, after a teaser and a teaser for the trailer, it’s finally here: the actual, proper, actual trailer.
So let’s watch it shall we?
Dinosaurs. Volcanos. Jeff Goldblum. Chris Pratt again. Dinosaurs.
It’s got everything I want in a film.
See you in the cinema on 22 June with another massive box of popcorn.
