Roman Atwood with fans

When we first heard that Roman Atwood was coming to the Dubai, we, admittedly, freaked out a little. Simply because there are few people who have managed to do what he has done, in the time that he has done it.

If you’re not aware of the 34-year-old and the magic and that is his YouTube channel, here’s what you need to know…

He’s one of the biggest names on YouTube
Atwood fast made a name for himself as being one of the funniest stars on YouTube. This is mainly due to his tear-inducing pranks (see the video below) and his ability to constantly bring something new to the table – hence the Emmy nomination for content creation.

He’s got a massive online following
Aside from being one of the most popular vloggers on YouTube – he has over 24 million subscribers – Atwood also has quite an impressive social media following. The Ohio native has a collective total of more than 10 million followers on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, with Twitter placing him as the eighth most engaging influencer on earth.

He’s got friends in high places
Comedian Steve-O and French entrepreneur and social media star Jérôme Jarre make up just a few of his most recent collaborations.

He’s in Dubai
The prankster will be headlining ITP Live’s Influencer and Marketing Summit Sessions tomorrow at Sofitel Dubai Downtown. He’ll be on hand to answer questions, pose with fans and maybe even pull a prank or two.

To meet the star, who will be joined by travel vlogger Luisito Comunica, Filip Jabbour, the CEO of GroupM MENA and more, email itpliveconference@itpliveme.com.
