People of Dubai, we should know the official start date of Eid al-Fitr by tonight. 

The Minister of Justice, His Excellency Sultan bin Saeed Al Badi has called for a moon-sighting committee to form at the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department tonight, after maghrib prayers. 

Should a crescent moon be spotted on tonight, the first day of  Eid al-Fitr will be on Friday, June 15. 

If a new moon is not spotted, Eid al-Fitr will start on Saturday, June 16.
