The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has confirmed that private sector workers will be given day one and two of Shawwal off.

"It is decided that the first and second days of the month of Shawwal 1439 Hijri shall be a paid vacation for all private sector employees on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr," the Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation His Excellency Nasser bin Thani Juma Al Hamli announced in the offical circular.
